Skylar Giles '22 Recruiting Profile

Recently, I medaled understand 3 events at the IHSA State Championships. The 100m dash, the 200m dash and the 4x100m relay. I am strong in multiple events, scoring the most points on my track and field team this season. My PRs are 10.87s in the 100m and 22.06s in the 200m in 23.24 secs as of 5/28/22. My primary event is sprints.  I will give the best that I have on the track and to my team.  I am continuously building physical strength.  I am a good kid with good values.  I love sports and they are my primary hobby.  I have played sports since I was 7 years old.  

Academically, I have taken enriched and AP classes. I am looking for a chance to earn a degree while also participating in the sports I enjoy.  I am pushing myself academically in college preparatory classes.  I just want to succeed and contribute on the track and in the classroom. 

I train year-round as a two-sport athlete (Varsity Track and Football). I am currently running with One Motion Corp out of Peoria, IL. I am a great teammate who is very coachable and hard-working. I help at the local recreation center and I just finished work at a summer camp. I love community service. I have a supportive family that is very encouraging.
