Getting a higher education has always been a goal from the beginning of my school career. This has instilled in me a work ethic that strives to represent myself in the best way possible. Sports are an extension of my goal to be the best version of myself through life lessons learned and a competitive atmosphere. Track is so much more then the individual when you look at it from a team perspective; having that opportunity to be apart of a team that relies on its teammates to work together. Not for the sole reason of an individual goal, but a team purpose. It is clear to me that there is always room for improvement and someone better than you, so understanding the hard work that goes into training and competing at the highest level possible is what will allow me to be the best student-athlete I can be.
