Hello my name is Demetrio Garcia and I'm currently a Captain for the Elkhart High school cross country team. This is my 6th year of running so I have the experience and am a hard worker. Im looking to study something in the veterinary medcine feild. My current goal is to get a 18:30 in the 5k. I always get honor roll or Principal's honor roll,so my grades haven't been an issue. I currently hav an Ivy tech degree in animal agribusiness.

- Ran the 3200. Pr'd by 37 seconds for a time of 11:26, putting me in 3rd place for my heat.

- Ran the Mile,1k,and 2 mile. 1 Mile was a time of 5:41(9 secs slower than last years pr), ran a 3:21 1k (21 sec pr), and ran a 12:12 2 mile(also 9 secs slower than my pr). For it still being really early in pre-season and being close to last year's pr's is amazing and I'm excited to see what I can do this season!!
