Personal Statement
After I joined Cross-Country, I didn't expect to do it for as long as I have. I figured one eighth grade season and I'd be done. Now I've done it for three years, I'm leading my team, and I made it to Indiana Regionals. Next year, I plan to make it further than that. But while I'm improving myself, I also want to help my team improve. While Cross Country and Track are both mostly solo sports, if you ignore the team aspect, it'll wear down on the rest of the group. I want to uplift and help others while I reach my own personal goals.
