William Rankin '19 Recruiting Profile

Running at the Iowa state high school meet will be one of the highlights of my running career.  While competing throughout the years, I have seen the impact that committed leaders can have. I was able to use these traits not only in track, but in my swimming and football seasons. These experiences have helped develop me into an athlete capable of competing at the college level.  I am excited to go to college and focus my efforts on one sport.

I have placed well at the state level the past three years and I am excited to see what I can accomplish my senior year. I am committed to do whatever amount of work it takes to improve, and I bring that ethic to the people around me. I am looking for a program that will have high expectations of me both athletically and academically. As a successful three-sport athlete, I know that I will do whatever it takes to be a dependable leader on your team.
