Personal Statement
I have had a dream to run track at the college level for as long as I can remember. Running has always been a passion of mine i’ve loved it ever since I went out for junior high track in the 7th grade. Growing up I had great values instilled in me through the sport of wrestling. Wrestling taught how to work hard and to never give up when the going gets tough, it made me mentally strong. These values have helped me immensely in the sport of track. I have always seen academics as my number one priority. I believe that I need to work hard on my academics now so I am not limited in what I want to do, and achieve in my future.
