Hello my name is Jonathan Meyer. I am a high school student, athlete, and performer from Tama Iowa. Through late middle school and early high school running became a passion of mine . In middle school I was the typical "smart kid" and tried hard academically and nothing else. Then in seventh grade I joined the cross country team and my world changed. I was never the fastest but my passion was there. Although I am still not to where I want to be with my running I am very opened to new approaches and learning opportunities. In high school after my freshman season of cross country I was named captain due to my natural ability to lead, my hard work and effort, and my passion and love for the sport of running. My goals are fairly simple, run fast. My GPA is around a 3.7 and I am very involved in activities ranging from track, and cross country, to band, choir, and dramatics, even student council. I love meeting new people and competing in the sport I love most. I do believe I would fit in well on a collegiate team. I love running and hope to continue doing what I love for many years to come!
