Personal Statement
Hello my name is Benjamin Polley. I am going to be a senior in high school, and my goal is to go run at a college and to eventually run post-collegiately. My individual goals for this years summer trainging is to mold myself into the most mentally and physically tough runner out there. My time goals are to run 16-flat in cross country for a 5k, sub 4:30 in the 1600, 2:04 in the 800, and sub 9:45 in the 3200. My goals on a broader scale are to show to people that no matter how much you get made fun of when you are little, or how tough your life gets during high school you can always become successful. I want to be a shining light to those people whose life is rough, and I want to be able to help them through it. I would also like to help them become a successful person in no matter what it is they want to do.
