Early in my life, when I was just a silly little kid, I was in love with movement - jumping, running and climbing wherever I could. As I grew a little older, I became involved in athletics and quickly embraced the discipline necessary to develop and succeed. Every season, every year, multiple team sports. Whether it’s talent or good luck, from a young age I’ve excelled at athletic activities, and truly enjoy the training, workouts and practices, while simultaneously remaining focused on school, proper nutrition and the appropriate life balance. I do have a favorite sport - running. I run simply because I love it. When I lace up my spikes, push my body to new limits, and compete against other talented athletes, a great distinctive feeling comes upon me, and it’s a feeling that is personally unlike any other. I also love supporting my teammates, watching and helping them grow and succeed, while being a contributing part of a competitive running program. Last year, as a Junior, I was proud to have anchored a relay team loaded with talented Seniors. I'm looking forward to my senior year to prove my full capabilities, as I am an individual who continues to push myself to deliver personal bests. Finally while running is my passion, I also have a strong commitment to being involved and giving back to my community with service and active engagement.
