During my time with Indoor Track and Field I have found a place where I can strive for my personal goals like pr's and improving my health and athletic abilities, as well as being a part of a team and making friends with amazing people. My freshman year was shock to me because it was my first time doing Track and Field for a school team and I had no idea of my athletic abilities in this sport, my coach helped me find the perfect events for me like Pole Vault, 55m Hurdles, and Long Jump. Long Jump was my favorite though, I was able to reach a PR of 18' 2" as a freshman. After this freshman season I was very exited for my sophomore year, but that season did not happen because of covid. Now coming into my junior year I am looking to strive for more pr's and to make even more friends with the new classes of students, and I love some friendly competition amongst the team.
