I am an early 2001 born who is in grade 10 when I should be in grade 9. All my life I've been competing and training with older athletes who are always pushing me to get better. I've been running track all my life and it is something I would really like to do long term.My collegiate goal is to finish high school on either the gold or silver honor roll, attend college or university, and earn a degree in business.I grew the most as a sprinter when I went to western nationals in Saskatoon. I was the only 2001 competing in any of my events which made me very nervous. Unfortunately I ran a 13 second 100m and that crushed me. From that day on I swore to myself I'm going to work harder. The next year I came first at westerns with a new PB and being the youngest athlete in the finals. Myself usually being younger and smaller then almost all of my competitors plays a big factor into how I train, and I think that is what sets me apart from other recruits. I currently attend Saint Paul's private High School in Winnipeg Manitoba. I look forward to hopefully finding a coach who can make me the best sprinter I can be.
