Personal Statement

My name is Rishab Sahai and I have started running track for the first time this year. I have been playing soccer for the past 7 years including playing on the Varsity team as a freshman.  After competing in my first couple of track meets I have fallen in love with the sport and would love to continue my athletic career throughout college. I aspire to be the best athlete and person I can be through hard work, determination, and being driven both during training and in the classroom.  


I aspire to be a well rounded college athlete, focused on getting a good education and being challenged athletically. I have tried to keep myself engaged in my community and passions through sports, volunteering, and my hobby of playing the guitar (My favorite music to play is Metallica!). I am looking for a university that will push me to be the best person I can be, and someone who is confident and prepared for the opportunities and challenges of life after college.
