Personal Statement
My name is Fox Larson, a student-athlete at Broadneck Highschool, class of 2024. I run cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. I'm constantly striving to improve and challenge myself both physically and academically. I started out joining the cross country team my sophomore year running an 18:57 and finishing my Juniors year cross country season with a pr of 17:15 for the 5k. I am also proud to say that I placed 20th in the Maryland state championships. I love the team aspect of both cross country and track and I am both a leader to my teammates and a mentor to the newer kids who join the team. I am part of the physics club, speech and debate club, and also a member of the Spanish Honors society as well as the student ambassadors. I have a weighted GPA of 4.12(not including the junior year) and an unweighted GPA of 3.97 with one of my goals being to keep those numbers going up and the times I run going down.
