Personal Statement

I have participated in every sport throughout my life and my speed has always been a great advantage. I started running track in 7th grade and immediately loved it. My coaches were really positive and gave me a lot of opportunities to succeed. Freshman year, I was competing on Varsity and had a great experience working with the upperclassmen in the relays at the state level.  As I learned how to train and focus, I saw real progress. I was named captain of the indoor and outdoor teams in my junior year. I look forward to the rest of my High School career as I continue to help Acton-Boxborough bond as a team and win championships while achieving personal success.

In college, I hope to be challenged on the track and in the classroom. I want to run for a serious program that will push me to be the best athlete that I can be. I know that with hard work, I can develop into a runner that will be of great value to your program during my college career.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
