Chris Worthley '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Chris Worthley and I am an aspiring collegiate pole vaulter.  I started out my pole vault career very recently, beginning in the Spring season of my Junior year of High School. I made good progress, qualifying for the conference and state meets and ended with a PR of 9'6" by the end of the spring season. Throughout the summer I worked with the Patriot Pole Vault Club in Andover, MA and got my PR up to 11' by the end of the summer. Since then, I have been training and lifting in hopes of having an excellent Spring season for pole vault.

Along with my athletics, I have been exceeding to the highest of my abilities academically. I have made Honor Roll every year of High School except for my sophomore year, where I made High Honor Roll. With my GPA and commitments to scholarship, service, leadership, and character, I qualified for and made it into National Honor Society my junior year. Since then I have been involved with NHS, participating in community service opportunities as well as tutoring other high school students during free periods 1-2 times a week.
