I have always been into sports. As a kid I was always running and jumping around. I knew coming into track was going to be a big deal for me, knowing that I could do things if I put my head and heart into it. I really loved everything about it, then I became a long jumper. Long jumping has been a big part of my track career at the varsity level. After winning a few, I kept my eyes on the prize, looking to play sports in college. As I near my junior year in track, I look to beat the school record, set at 21’ 7”. Also I look to try to start gaining attention from college level coaches. Nothing will stop me from running and jumping around, so I’d like to be able to keep doing it through long jump.
