Personal Statement
My goals is to attend a school that offers my area of study (mechanical engineering) and to run at a college level. I have loved running since I first joined my cross country team in 7th grade. I want the opportunity to be coached by college coaches and compete with a team that will push me to get better and better. What makes me a good candidate for a team- I have been a captain of all 3 of my HS sports teams. My coaches didn't choose me for captain because I am a natural leader- I lead by example. I try to work harder than anyone and bring my teammates with me. I am always finding new ways to challenge myself and if my coaches ask something of me- I do it.
I attend a small school with a small running program. I would love the opportunity to run at the college level and be part of the team.
