I run for a small school in Montana. In my class we have a total of 16 students. This can be scary for a school recruiting an athlete but let it be known that it does not effect me poorly but actually drives to me to become a better athlete. To beat kids that go to schools literally 5x or 8x bigger then me is a great feeling. I run the 400 meters and was undefeated competing against AA, A, B, and C schools. My grades as a freshman were poor...Like 2.89 bad... Over the years I have acquired a love for learning and academic excellence. This past year (my Junior year) my GPA was 3.78, and I predict in even better score for my senior year. I am built on the philosophy that you the only person you should try to be better then is the person you were yesterday. I am full of energy and can be an energy spark for any track program. I shaved off 2.01 seconds off my PR this year and I plan on doing that once more. My PR for the 400m is 50.23 and I am the 2014 State Champion Class C. In Track it is important to become a selfless runner. My sister lost a child for the second consecutive time and I commit each and every one of my track races to her lost ones.
