Personal Statement
Commitment and core values have set a solid foundation to my journey of life. I have aspirations to become a commercial airline pilot. My dreams came alive when a football coach took me up in his plane as a reward at the end of my junior high football career. I never looked back. What I though would be just an exciting experience quickly became a passion that is as strong today as it was 4 years ago. I have acted upon this passion and almost immediately began flight training. My story began with great aero experiences thanks to the Civil Air Patrol program and one great coach. As an individual and as an athlete, I have always been competitive and hold myself to a high standard; always striving to be my personal best on and off the track. My Track & Field career began very similarly (by chance) when I took part in Indoor and Outdoor Seasons to supplement my off season football strength and conditioning. I quickly discovered that track was my sport. I hope to utilize my talents in college on a Men's Track and Field team.
