Personal Statement

I started wrestling when I was in 3rd grade. I instantly fell in love with the sport, and even as a little kid, I wanted to be the best. As I grew older, my determination to become a better wrestler and teammate grew with me. Unfortunately, I missed my freshman season because my school canceled wrestling due to COVID. I took 3rd in D1 and All States my sophomore season and that fueled my fire for wanting bigger and better things in wrestling. I am now a two-time divisional and all state champion and was a New England finalist in 2023. I just received the Outstanding Wrestler Award in 2024 at my all-state tournament last month. I work extremely hard in the practice room everyday and strive to be the hardest working wrestler in the room and to be a good leader in everything I do. Now that my senior season is over, I am looking forward to my next chapter!
