- 2018 Highlights
Personal Statement
Running has taught me how to give my all in every aspect of my life. I have learned that doing so will almost certainly respond with benifits academically and athletically. Whether it is studying an extra hour for a test or taking that last rep so hard you feel like you might pass out, it has proven to be extremely worth while. Running has also taught me the value of being part of a team, and how being competitive and working together to accomplish one singular goal will not only improve the team, but will give you some of your best friends. And I wouold love to compete and give my all at a school that has equally exemplary programs in academics and in athletics.
My goals as an athlete would not only be to be the best runner in my particular state or region, but to be highly competitive with those considered to be the country's top elite runners. This may seem like a hefty goal now, but through hard work and dedication I certainly do not think it is impossible. My personal academic goals would be to finish high school with at least a 4.0 GPA.
