When I want something I go out and get it and becoming a College Athlete has been one of my main goals for a very long time. Having the opportunity to run competitively in college is something I have been working extremely hard towards since I began running. The reason I chose running as my main sport is because hard work and dedication correlates almost directly to improvement and I am willing to outwork anyone in order to get where I want to be.
I have steadily improved the last couple of seasons and I plan on continuing to do so. I am a leader that tries to bring a positive outlook to every practice and/or meet. Having a close knit team that is there for each other as much as possible is something that is very important to me. When I go out on the course or track I am running for my teammates just as much as I am running for myself. While running is a close 2nd, academics do come first and I am very committed to them. I study hard in school and constantly make sure my grades are in check.
I will evaluate every and any opportunity that could come my way based on if the academic and athletic situations are right for me. I am open to all options and am eager to find a school that is a perfect match for me.
