My name is Mason Renfrew and I’m 17 years old. I started track sophomore year because my friends told me to and I was alright at it and made sectionals in high jump, triple jump, and long jump. I didn't really end up taking it seriously until around mid-season my junior year. I'm a hard worker and always striving to become a better athlete and I also care about my academics as much as my athletics. I want to become good at track and go to States and work hard to accomplish that. I want to go to college to compete at a higher level.
I also play other sports. I started playing soccer 7th grade and got pulled up to varsity my sophomore year and I still play soccer. I started playing basketball 8th grade year and made the varsity team my junior year. I might stop playing basketball to focus on track, but I haven't decided yet. Track is my favorite sport out of all the sports I've played and I've fallen in love with jumping.
