Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Andrew Kovaleski and I am a Senior at Victor Senior High School in Upstate New York. I joined Track and Field this Winter for the Indoor season. I competed in many events including Throws, Jumps, and Sprints. I quickly found high interest and skill in the Throwing events and spent most of my season focused on that. I won the Section V individual Shot Put championship with a PR throw of 47'10.75". I am now considering College Track and Field, I am a quick learner and am very flexible and adaptable. Although I am new to the sport I feel my weight lifting history and my history as an athlete translates very well to Track and Field. I hope to hear from you, thank you!
