My dream has always been to play a sport at the collegiate level. I hope to achieve this goal as a track athlete. I think my work ethic on the track, in the weight room, and in the classroom sets me apart from others. Another trait I feel helps me stand out is that I am very determined to prove people wrong when they say my goals are out of reach. I started my high school career at Southwest Guilford and remained there first two years of high school. I wanted to achieve a better education so I decided to transfer to Westchester Country Day School, a college preparatory school, in order to challenge me academically. I feel I handled my transfer to a new school very well and kept up my grades while participating in sports.
