2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I am a high-energy athlete and high-achieving student. I bring passion and commitment to all that I do in life. I have an outgoing personality, coupled with a history of commitment and service, that makes me an ideal teammate. I was grateful to earn my BSA Eagle Scout Award and I hope it proves my willingness to work hard and remain diligent in all of my goals. So far, the winter indoor season has started off awesome! I tried the 1000m and am now State qualified for five events before Christmas (4x800, 1600, 1000, 3200, 4x400). So now it is just about honing on some of those events and getting even better! I am lucky to have really great coaches to help me. Cross Country is always a great time and one of my favorites with a new PR of 16:04- I am really getting close to my goal of hitting in the 15s. I love track and I love to compete. More than anything, I love being part of a team. I hope I can continue into college!

- It was a great time where I got to spend some incredible time with some of the NC State Coaching staff while also running with some of the best runners in our state(G. Schmid). It was incredible to be on the beautiful campus of Christ School and running in the beautiful NC Mountains!
