I Would Like to Start Off by saying my name is Terence O’Neal Booth Jr I am a senior Sprinter/Hurdler and my goal has always been to be a professional athlete and wanted to compete at the next level I have been blessed in the last few months to receive offers from numerous programs (D1,D2,D3,and NAIA) and have developed a name for myself but I’ve worked hard for it , I’ve trained ,I’ve prayed, I pray, i’ve researched , I’ve dreamed , and Ive accomplished, I will do whatever it takes to get too the next level because it’s a dream for me that i couldn’t be more serious about. I used to run track because “I just liked to run ”,now I run track to be something ,to leave a name for myself , to inspire others that you can go to that next level , and you can be successful but you have to have grades and you have to put the work in. I am currently 6’3 and just entered my senior year last year I won the state championship and proved that I can do whatever I put my mind too , and i extremely blessed to posses the accolades and accomplishments that I have received over the last 3 years and this year, year 4 will be special in both basketball and track and field. And fact a lot of people don’t know Is last year was my first ever year using blocks ,using spikes , and running on asphalt my freshman and sophomore year I ran with tennis shoes on concrete and went to regionals all three years and states sophomore and junior I went from a pr* my sophomore year at 16.5 to a pr* of 14.5 this past year with not a lot of work out the blocks or speed in between the hurdles they’re so many little things and mistakes that I will correct and work on this year that I am sure I can get into the 13.7-13,9 range this year as well as speed and technique changes that I can get to that 10.50 100m and 21.30 200m this year I am so ready for senior year and I hope coaches take this message into consideration it’s been my dream and always will be my dream to be a professional athlete making money and a name for myself while being doing what I love please do not pass up on me i just wanna be great at a great program with great coaches. thank you for your time.
~Sincerely, Terence Booth Jr
