2024 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I want to be the best thrower I can for my team and my school. There is nothing I want more than to excel in the classroom and in the circle with my teammates by my side for both. I have been training heavy since freshman year to throw the shotput and discus as far as I can, improving ever year.
During sophomore year I felt I have found my passion with the weight toss, improving every practice and meet. My dream is to throw in college side-by-side with a roster of teammates and coaching staff that share my passion of academic and athletic excellence.

- Along with the regular seasons practices, I receive extra throwing training has been immensely helpful to my throws in shotput and discuss, while my coach also teaches me hammer, weight throw, and javelin. I have espicially found a special connection to the weight throw.

- My current strength training regiment has helped me lift a PR of 510lbs for 3 reps on deadlift, and 365lbs for 8 reps in squat. I am currently in the gym on my own atleast 3 times a week, not including team lifts. With frequent cardio mixed in aswell.
