I would like to attend a college that challenges me both athletically and academically. I enjoy learning and competing and I'm looking for a college that will allow me to do both. I started running Cross Country as a 7th grader but was spending my spring and summers playing school and travel baseball. After a breakout sophmore Cross Country season I was able to run in the regional meet for my team. After the regional meet I decided that if I wanted to be the best runner I could be I would have to make the tough decision to give up baseball and focus on track and running year round. Last year was my first year running track and I'm very glad I made the transition and I know I can continue to drop my first year times over the next two seasons.
