I want to be a collegiate athlete because I am extremely passionate about all things sports related. I love the adrenaline rush that comes from participating in a sport I love at the highest possible level. The sport I am most passionate about competing in is track and field. I love the team and individual aspect of it and the fact that everyone can push me to my individual goals while also helping the team as a whole.
I believe that I can become a successful collegiate athlete because of the qualities I bring to the table. I am extremely dedicated. Once I put my mind on something I will do everything I can to make it happen. I am also very coachable. One of my favorite aspects of track is being able to see the look on my coaches face when I accomplish something we practiced everyday. I am able to prioritize. While I love sports, I also understand the importance of academics, I put a heavy emphasis on my studies and success in the classroom.
I want to compete at the highest level of track and field that I can. I am open to attending any college in the country, but my preference would be either in-state or in the surrounding states. I am still trying to decide my field of study, but I am considering a degree that connects my love of sports to my mathematical mind.
