Thomas (Tommy) Ward '20 Recruiting Profile

     I am Thomas Gregory Ward, however, my coaches, friends, and milesplit know me as Tommy Ward. My running career began in 10th grade, and it has rapidly grown since. Competitive racing has changed my habits, lifestyle, and mindset; because of this, I do not want to leave the racing grit and competition behind. I want to continue my athletics along with my academia. Running in college is important because of my passion for racing. Running is important. Good education and personal growth are equally important. I genuinely enjoy my classes -- with the exception of math. Mostly, I am excited about art, writing/reading, and biology. This interest is what drives me to work hard in these subjects, and it pushes me to become a well-rounded individual.
