Malin Arnoldussen '25 Recruiting Profile

I would first like to thank all who are taking the time to read my statement about myself. The best way to describe me is, I am a self motivated individual who will and can take outside encouragement, but my drive and desire fuels me the most. My current goal and aspiration is to graduate high school with the highest academic achievement possible, while also constantly improving myself both mentally and physically. I feel that there is no limit to improvement as long as i don't limit myself. I am always striving to improve in every aspect of my life, from my maturity, my knowledge and my physical ability. I am currently running cross country and track for my high school teams, as well as running independent events in other areas. My goal in education is to obtain my bachelor's degree or even higher in a field that I have yet to determine. My goal in athletics is to keep pushing my run time in any and all events to the highest level, so to compete for medals and to also help my team achieve their goals as well. As of this year, myself and my team are pushing hard to go the Texas state finals in cross country, and I know that if I push myself past my limits, not only can I achieve this for myself but we as a team will be in better position to accomplish this as a team. In track I am continuing my pursuit to improve my individual times on the events i run, but also to increase my team work and capability on the team events i participate in. In conclusion, I understand that I am young, and with that growth is inevitable but how much I grow is on me, and with the support of my family, friends, coaches and teachers, I know that I can grow at faster, better and more conducive pace to allow me to not only reach the goals i see for myself now, but the new goals i will want to reach once i met the previous ones. So to all who read this, again thank you for taking the time out of your schedules to learn about me, and hopefully see that I will never be a finished product, but an ever evolving one that will give not only; you, the institution in which i atttend, but most importantly to myslelf and loved ones everything to be better than i am now.
