Jedidiah Nimmons '24 Recruiting Profile

     In the past four years I have been involved in athletics including track and field as well as cross county.  As a 13 year old I was given the MVP award to our state homeschool track meet.  In have been inspired by Usain Bolt and hope that I can become an Olympic athlete someday.  Ideally, I hope to go a great university to help take my running to the next level.  

     Throughout High School I have had many great opportunities to give back to the community.  I have been privileged to volunteer with the Joy House to help raise money for single pregnant woman in need of assistance.  I also participated in meetings with the Teen Avengers who have helped raise money for the Salvation Army.  I have been honored to help with different ministries in serving the homeless during winter.  I have gone with my youth group to do outreach in the community as well as singing to the elderly in nursing homes.  

In college I plan to major in communication with an emphasis in public relations.  I hope that I can make a positive difference in our culture in everything that I do.  I my Olympic dream don't pan out I can still touch lives in other ways.
