Personal Statement
I am a driven athlete with steep but clear goals, while sometimes those goals might be a little out of my reach, I will always put in the effort and focus into achieving them. I would like to say I’m also a consistent athlete. With the right competition I PR almost every race no matter the conditions, wind, rain, poor warmup, sitting around for 2 hours, etc. Running AAU has taught me that consistency is important and that only the mentally tough are going to run to the best of their ability, as race conditions at these meets are mediocre at best due to the amount of people in every event. Overall, my motivation gives me excitement for the sport and I love training and especially competing.
