My personal goal as a collegiate runner is to continue developing my ability to become the fastest I can possibly be and to help my team win in whatever way necessary. I also want to make lasting bonds and friendships with my teammates, create good memories, and further my college experience. I have been running track and cross country on the varsity teams since my freshman year and have transformed my times to become a successful and winning high school athlete through hard work and grit. I have good leadership skills and I am one of the captains of our cross-country team which I think helped me learn a lot about how to be a leader and a good role model, especially due to our team being young and relatively inexperienced this year. My goals for the current outdoor season are to run 4:25 in the 1600m and 9:30 in the 3200m and place well at the state meet. I also hope to break 2 minutes in the 800 and help lead our 4x800 team to a top 3 finish at the state meet.
