Alex Arndt '24 Recruiting Profile

I grew up playing lots of sports and I tried track for the first time in 7th grade. I enjoyed the sport more than I expected and discovered that I was able to run long distances. After trying several sports in my first two years of high school, I realized how much I enjoy running and want to continue growing in the sport. In the last three years, I have developed my training habits and racing strategies. 

In my Spring Sophomore outdoor Track & Field season, I was the 1600M and 3200M conference champion. In my Fall Junior season of Cross Country, I was the conference champion in the 5K. I am excited to apply my race experience to my Junior Track & Field season and have the goal of repeating as a conference champion.  My long-term goal is to continue improving my times through continued training and work to be recruited for a college Track & Field team. 

I am a person who works hard towards my goals. Even though running is an individual sport, I enjoy being part of a team and giving support to my teammates.
