Personal Statement

I am an extremly versatile Track and Field athlete.  This season I competed in the maximum number of events (4) in every meet but two.  I scored a total of 308 points, most of which came from High Jump, Pole vault, 110HH and the 4x200.  In High Jump I jumped 6'6" indoor and 6'7" outdoor when I needed to win to keep our team in the running with our rival Plymouth.  I am also involved musically in my school and perform well under pressure.  I understand what it takes to juggle many different activities at once and love this challenge.  This is one reason why I decided to compete in a USATF decathlon last summer and again this summer.  I am excited to continue my Track and Field career and bring my versatility to a future college team.
