Ever since my mom let me run with her at the age of seven, I knew that running was something that I loved, and wanted to pursue.
It has been my dream to compete at the collegiate level of track and field. I am dedicated to learning everything I can to continuously improve to reach my full potential as an athlete.
I realize that I am a student-athlete and schoolwork is just as, if not more important than what I do on the track. I have always tried to get straight A's and to be at the top of the class with a grade point average of 3.6. Most people would describe me as studious and a leader in the classroom, so they nominated me for Vice President of our class for the past two years.
Not only do I push myself during track season, but I also push myself out of track season. I compete in USATF and AAU indoor meets all over the United States during the offseason. After track season is over, I continue my season with more outdoor meets with these organizations. I do these meets to better myself and strive to be the best I can be. I workout with a personal trainer two days out of the week. The other three days I am at the gym lifting weights and running.
I believe that I will be your hardest working and most driven athlete you will see.
