Connor Delaney '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Connor Delaney and I live in Santa Rosa, California  I am a rising junior and I currently attend Cardinal Newman High School. My club team is Absolute Volleyball Club in San Rafael, California.

I became interested in volleyball after playing on a co-ed team my 8th grade year. This inspired me to try out for Absolute Volleyball Club and I made the 16u team. The club is an hour away from my house and I do the drive 3-4 times a week happily as I have found my passion.

After playing a season of club and realizing how much I loved the sport I decided to start a men's volleyball team at my high school. I got administrative approval and my high school successfully fielded its first men's volleyball team in school history. I was the team captain and led the team in kills, blocks, digs, and aces. In our inaugural season we also made our division playoffs. 

I have also play both in sand and grass volleyball tournaments in the off season.

Key Events:

My school team achieved the highest unweighted GPA in the state of California. 

My club team qualified and competed in the BJNC National Championships.
