Giovanni Bernile '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, my name is Gio(vanni) Bernile. I started playing volleyball in February Sophomore year of high-school, instantly falling in love with it. On the 9th month of my playing, I joined the 1's team of my local club, showing me the level I have to work towards. It would be an extremely cherished opportunity for me to continue playing the sport I love at a competitive level if possible and use it as a tool alongside my education to grow. Volleyball has already taught me so much about life and about approaching difficult situations with intelligence and maturity, and I hope that I can give back to volleyball and a program the same way volleyball has given me direction.

If asked, I feel that my coaches and significant adult figures in my life would describe me as creative, mature, and flexible. In terms of my playing style, coaches have told me I am extremely well rounded, a perfectionist, extremely hard working in and outside the gym, passionate, and coachable.
