Personal Statement
My name is Sam Robinson and I am a 6'4, 200lb athlete. I love sports more than everything in the world. Sports shapped me into the person I am today. I gained many traits through playing sports. Some of which include being a hard worker, the strive to persevere and achieve my goals, a never give up attitude, the sense of competition and intensity, along with so many other traits. I am the type of person to always keep my teammates positive. I know there are always bad times, however, there is always the next play to improve and get a step ahead. Being a team player is one of the major neccesities of playing sports. This is key to the game because too many emotions can get in the way of the task at hand. When I play volleyball I feel like everything comes very natural to me. When I am out there with my teammates I know that everyone has my back and that we are all a family at the end of the day. However, playing volleyball isn't everything when it comes to choosing schools.
I think that recieving a good quality education is key. I would like to go to a school where I will be able to keep my education as my number one priority. Being a Student Athlete teaches you how to manage your time properly and how to manage responsabilities on and off the court. Being a kind person and helping others in my life is something I will always take pride in doing. Physical therapy and being an Athletic trainer is something that I believe will keep sports in my life and give me the ablility to help people everyday. This is something I know I will enjoy.
Keeping sports and education in my life is something that I highley look forward to in the future. I know that the school I will pick will ultimately have something unique about it.
