Starting at the age of 12, I began my love for the sport of volleyball. Although my small high school of only 600 students did not offer a boy's volleyball program, I went on to play 6 years of club volleyball and grow as an athlete at the highest level. I was a 4 time team captain, 5 time top team starter, and lead the 17 1's team to a national bid in Columbus, Ohio in the summer of 2017. These opportunities reassured me that I wanted to continue volleyball after high school, while at the same time attending a university to pursue my hopes of becoming a dentist. Playing volleyball has taught me major responsibilities, including how to be held accountable, be a leader for my team, and manage my time between maintaining good grades in the classroom while improving to my highest potential when on the court.
Within my years of athletics, I've had the opportunity to play many sports at multiple different levels; However, the only sport that has stuck with me throughout my school-age years and leading into college is volleyball. Attending college after high school has been a dream of mine since I was a child, but the only dream bigger than this was to play a high level of volleyball in college as well. I know that with my athleticism, intelligence, determination and work ethic, I would make an extremely positive impact on any Men's program.
