Simon Elkins '26 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a sophomore in the Saline Area Schools District. My goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate and the professional level. When I started playing volleyball in seventh grade, I found my purpose.  For the first year, I played with any ball that I could find until I got my first real volleyball.  Any break in the day that I get, I spend improving.  My love for volleyball and my goal to play at a higher level motivates me to push myself in every aspect of life whether it's extra training, and studying film for hours at night, while making sure I maintain my grades and not passing up the opportunity I've been given for a great education. I am willing to do whatever it takes to continue playing volleyball at a higher level. I'm coachable and want to learn as much as possible about every position offensively and defensively to be ready to fill any role I'm asked to play in order to be an asset for the team to help everyone, including myself, achieve their goals.  These are the reasons that nothing will stop me from conquering my dreams.  Thank you for taking me into consideration for your future recruiting.
