Shai Sahak '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shahidullah Sahak. I am 5’7 and a Libero.

I started playing Volleyball at the age of 11. Before the age of 11, my prime sport was Soccer. It all started with my father playing grass volleyball with his friends and anytime they lacked any players, me and my friends would join and play with them. I still wasn’t interested in the sport because there wasn’t a lot for me to do but not until I learned how to pass, serve, and more importantly swing the ball which was the greatest feeling ever. 

During 7th grade, I decided to try out for the modified them not knowing anything about the rotation, and by the end of the season, I learned a good amount of new stuff and played as a Setter. My 8th grade modified team, I played as an Outside and. we finished the season undefeated. In my freshman and sophomore years, I played the position of Libero for the varsity team. I also led my section with most digs and a year later got a position of all-league 2nd team player.   

My dream is to play competitive level of Volleyball while pursuing my degree. I am looking forward to making a great volleyball family and playing along with you all honorable coaches.
