Malique Rackley '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball my sophomore year after a close friend of mine suggested I go to an open gym with him, from that day forward I fell in love. by my second season I became one of the leaders/captains on the varsity team, I had to overcome the obstacle of switching positions and surprisingly that switch helped my setter climb the charts in assists. I love seeing my teammates succeed and build off the success instead of settle for what they have because as a leader I’m the person the younger guys look up to. with my last year of playing coming up, I have earned Most Improved Player & 2nd team all GWOC and a few college interests, as well as a 3.0 GPA through the year. I plan to make sure wherever my path takes me I hold my own as  a “student athlete” and make sure my coach never second guesses bringing me into their program.
