My name is Wilson Flack. I live in Cheyenne WY, and I have been "playing volleyball" since before I could even stand. Before my dad passed away in 2019, he was my idol, and coach when it came to volleyball; he continues to be my inspiration every day. Because my dad was so well-known in the Wyoming volleyball community. After he died, I felt an almost overwhelming expectation to be the best player I could be, but as I've been playing and time has passed I have developed it into a connection between him and me, as well as something I love. My goal is to be a professional volleyball player (Indoor or Sand), followed by a career in Culinary Arts and Business. To achieve these goals, I must choose a school that is going to set me up for a great future, with things such as a strong business program with opportunities to grow athletically and professionally. In general, I would be a good fit for any team or college, but the specific reasons that I know I can be an asset are as follows: Friendly and Positive outlook, Extremely Coachable, Desire to be Better and a High Energy Personality. My past coaches would say that I am a team player and a good sport. What makes me different from any other guy in THIS recruiting class, is that I am from Cheyenne Wyoming, and there is nothing I want more than to bring men’s volleyball to my state and prove to everyone that it’s not just for girls.
