Edward ‘Will’ Garcia '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches, my name is Edward ‘Will’ Garcia and I am a senior at Arcadia High School in Arcadia, California. I am a goalie in the class of 2024. 

I play with Respect/ Grit and Determination. I win or lose with Grace and Humility.  

I left the security of the Varsity and Club swim team and pushed myself out of my comfort zone to join the varsity HS water polo team and served as team co-captain. This year our team went 23 and 4 and made it to the quarterfinals in CIF. I was just named to 1st team Pacific League, 2nd team CIFSS, Co-MVP and Academic Athlete  

I have played in the Junior Olympic games for the last 2 years under the 18u Rose Bowl team in Pasadena, CA. 

I am coachable and will give 100% to my Coach and Team.

I volunteer for a USAWP camp that reaches out to underserved communities to bring the excitement of water polo to every child. This was our inaugural year and attendance well exceeded expectations.   

I have a 3.83 unweighted cumulative GPA, I am involved in the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and take several AP courses.
