Water polo for me has been more than just a sport, it is a way of life. It has taught me discipline, grit, and that hard work is an investment in success. I have been playing since my 7th-grade year and have enjoyed every moment of it. During Covid-19, I was unsure how I was going to continue to pursue water polo as I entered high school, but I kept working out, lifting weights, and learning all I could about the game while I waited for the pools to reopen. My biggest strengths are that I am coachable, work hard, and can adapt to any position in the pool. I have been a starter on our high school varsity team since my freshmen year and wass named Captain my sophomore year. I have aided my Water Polo and Swim team to two League Championships and made CIF first round in 2021 and CIF 3rd round in 2022 for Water Polo. One of my biggest accomplishments last Fall was being named to 1st Team All League CIF, 2nd Team All Inland Empire and named League MVP. I also went to CIF Finals during my sophomore year for the 200 Free Relay in 2022 and CIF Qualifiers for the 200 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay in 2023. I am just as dedicated in the classroom as in the pool. I currently have a 4.53 GPA, I am the current President of the National Honor Society and have been named an Academic All-American by USA Water Polo for two years running. As college approaches, I have goals to play for a highly competitive program as well as pursue a medical degree in Sports Psychiatry. I am open to studying anywhere in the country where both my athletic and academic aspirations can be fulfilled.
