Chase Blitzer '26 Recruiting Profile

As most water polo players, I started off as a swimmer, following in the footsteps of my Dad.  But, on my 9th birthday I took my neighbor up on an invitation to try water polo at our neighborhood club.  I was hooked immediately.  I have been passionate about water polo since that first day.  I have a very strong defensive game, but also have the ability to make some tough perimeter shots.  I do enjoy playing the 2-1 side the most, but I will do whatever is best for the team.  I am a huge advocate for my team.  I strive to bring 110% to everything I do, from polo to academics, being a team leader and motivator.  I bring a positive energy to my team. I want to lift everyone up around me and help them be the best they can be. I am committed to learning and constantly improving.  I can only do this by listening to my coaches and mentors and being the first one in the water and the last one out. I have been told I am a hard worker, coachable and respectful.  That is the biggest compliment of all.
