My name is Hanna Janke, I graduate in the class of 2024 and have been playing softball for 10 years. For the 2023 season, I was named captain by my coaches. My primary position is third base, with my secondary being middle infield, but I am willing to play anywhere on the field that best helps the team's success. For me softball is more than a game, it's a place where I can be myself while working to become a better athlete and improve each and every day, while being given so many amazing opportunities, and meeting countless amounts of lifelong friends along the way. During my free time not spent on the diamonds or doing school work, I enjoy playing school sports, which include volleyball, basketball, field hockey and track and field. Aside from sports I love baking and cooking as well as hanging out with my friends and family.
Along with being a high level athlete, I value my grades to a great extent. I have a 4.0 GPA and have obtained honors every semester throughout junior and senior high school. I am determined both in the classroom and on the field and am willing to put in all the work required to get me to the next level to play softball and pursue my education at university.
